After researching the market we are confident our fee structure provides market leading value to our clients. We also regularly review the fees you pay to other suppliers in the chain, for example fees to product or fund providers, to ensure we are managing the total cost for our clients, keeping this below market average.
As financial intermediaries our fees are normally VAT exempt. It is our current understanding that:
- We bring together a person/people seeking a financial service with an organisation/organisations who provide(s) the financial service(s) as recommended in our financial plans
- We stand between the parties to a contract and act in an intermediary capacity, and
- We undertake work preparatory to the completion of a contract for the provision of financial services, whether or not it is completed.
Chapter 1 ‘When we met’
We will take whatever time necessary to understand you and your financial goals. This part of the process will be carried out at our cost.
Chapter 2 ‘When we planned’
We will send you a letter outlining the scope of our work and the fees for the advice we will provide. Whether you are growing you wealth, spending your wealth, or looking at your overall financial position, our planning fees are listed below so there are no surprises.
Chapter 3 ‘When we put your plan into action’
With your agreement we can manage the implementation of your financial plan.
Our charge for this is service is based on a percentage of the amount you invest or transfer.
If we are setting up a regular contribution product we will charge £300 per contract we set up.
Chapter 4 ‘When we provided that extra security blanket’
As your financial situation may of now changed, we recommend reviewing your Will and Powers of Attorney to ensure these provide you and your family with the appropriate level of protection. You may have a Solicitor or Will Writer of your own, or if you would like a recommendation please let us know. There is no fee payable to us for this service, and you should obtain a quote directly from the provider of this service.
Chapter 5 onwards – ‘When you became the author of your own future’
Your circumstances will change, as will the financial landscape, legislation and taxation.
For these reasons if it is appropriate we will recommend one of our review propositions to ensure your financial plan remains on track, and to make sure you are maximising your financial potential.
We may advise reviewing any pensions and investments you have with us when your circumstances materially change, or on an annual basis.
This will allow us to assess the ongoing suitability of our recommendations, and to make any changes required to ensure you remain on track to meet your financial goals.
We offer a range of annual review propositions to ensure we deliver clear value added advice year on year, and to make sure you are receiving the ongoing support you require.
As your wealth builds, or where you have a complicated financial situation, the review service we provide reflects this additional complexity, and provides a clear proposition to ensure we continue to deliver added value year on year.
